"The Great American Songbook" is the name given to the great 'standards' of American popular music from the 1920s through the 1960, give or take. Much of the music originated on Broadway and in movies. Linda Vice-Hisey picks out a few of the many songs in 'the book' this week. And she'll continue with some more next week.

Fun Fact: While the name WIQH has no true meaning, some like to say it stands for "Why I Quit Highschool"

WIQH is a Class A, non-commercial, FM radio station. We broadcast on a frequency of 88.3 MHz with an effective radiated power of 100 watts. WIQH staffed by students and open to any student or staff member at Concord Carlisle High School. WIQH carries a number of live and prerecorded shows as well as live coverage of select Concord Carlisle Patroits sports and other special events in the local area.
